E-book writing can be either made into a career or just an outlet of creativity. Writing let you to speak out your mind or express yourself. And if you are searching for a way to make money while at home, writing can be the perfect way to do that too. Surely, ebook writing is one of the easiest ways to generate extra cash.

You may be an individual who wants to write and publish your very own eBook, which some people do think will be an arduous task. As an author, who is looking to self-publish, you may look at the whole process as a learning curve, but one that will be full of issues, cost a lot and be time consuming. However, this isn’t the case, so long as you have a handy guide to help you through the process. And, before you do progress and look at all of the different things you could be doing with your own written and published work, you should recognize that what we are discussing here is your very own online electronic book and not a ‘traditional’ bound book you will find in the shops.

eBooks are information products - and these are perhaps one of the hottest selling products on the internet today. People want information. If you want to publish your own book, an eBook is perhaps the best way to start. Once it becomes established, you can always approach publishers. If it is a great seller as an eBook, there will not be any need to self publish - the publishers will be queuing up to publish you book.

Having the ability to develop and write your own stories means that you can work from wherever in the world you want. You may want to sit by the pool or beach whilst you write your information packed novels, or even sit in a wood fired cabin in the mountains, to help you come up with the great content. The overall aspect is you will choose from where you write and produce your work.

If you already have a web site you can sell your book from there by creating a sales page and a ‘thank-you’ page that includes the download instructions. You can then set up the payment process using an online payment company such as PayPal.

If you don’t have a web site, you can sign up for a free blog and sell your book from there the same way. Or if you’re really not that savvy at creating web pages, you don’t have to have a web site or blog at all to sell your book.

LuLu.com is a free online POD publisher who will sell a printed copy of your book On Demand from their web site, as well as help you design a free book cover. All they ask in return is a percentage of every book sale.

Even if you have written and published your book online that people will then come across it and want to buy it. You will need to advertise and promote your eBook in the best way you can. If you choose to promote the eBook, then you will definitely see a growth in sales.
